Mixed Visual Arts
Ages 11 - 15 | July 12 - August 30
Wednesdays, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Each drop-in session will offer participants the chance to explore painting, drawing, watercolour, printmaking, suminagashi, collage, and more. This is a wonderful opportunity to create in a communal, supportive space and to try new artistic methods and materials!
DJing and Article Customization
Ages 11 - 15 | July 13 – August 31
Thursdays, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
In this workshop, it’s up to the participants to choose if they would like to do DJing, article customization, or both. This combo drop-in will allow participants to move between learning how to operate DJ equipment and redesigning items brought from home (clothes, bags, skateboards, etc).
Textile Arts
Ages 11 - 15 | July 7 - August 25
Fridays, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Each week there will be various textile-based equipment and materials for participants to use under the guidance of a facilitator. Some of the featured techniques and methods will be sewing, altering / tailoring garments, knitting, embroidery, and more.
Street Dance
Ages 13+ | July 11 - August 29
Tuesdays, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
In this weekly program, participants will learn and practice the fundamentals of hip-hop, funk, and freestyle street dance in a supportive setting. No prior experience is needed for this program, and dancers of all backgrounds and skill levels are welcome!
Giant Puppet Workshops
Ages 13+ | July 10 - August 21
Mondays, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
During these open workshops, participants will work as part of a team or as individuals to help create a collection of puppets inspired by the living beings of Brandt's Creek.
Visual Arts - 3 Day Intensive
Ages 13 - 17 | July 25 - 27
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
In this 3-day intensive, participants will build their skills in different painting and drawing techniques. At the end of this program, registrants will have the opportunity to exhibit their work on the second floor of the Interior Health Building at 505 Doyle Ave, Kelowna BC.
Circus Arts - 3 Day Intensive
Ages 13 - 16 | Aug. 8 - 10

Join us in a 3-day circus and movement intensive where we dive into specialized circus movement disciplines, flow, and authentic self-expression through the lens of a circus artist. Here we will learn tactical skills with juggling, acrobatics, hula hoop, and the art of flow.
Anime Art - 3 Day Intensive
Ages 13 - 16 | August 22 - 24
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
This 3-day intensive program is all about anime and cartooning! Participants will develop their drawing and illustration skills and practice building up characters and the worlds they might live in. Participants will learn the fundamentals of anime art from an experienced anime artist.
Family Visual Arts Days
All ages | July 8 - September 3
Saturdays, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Come on down for family Visual Arts drop-ins! Each Saturday will feature a visual arts activity appropriate for all ages. Some featured activities will be painting, drawing, collage-making, and sticker-making. There will also be a 30-minute free lunch for participants after the activity. These family days are for kids, youth and families with multi-generational adults. An adult must be present.
